The Company Clayton Thermal Products Limited is the UK Subsidiary company of Clayton Industries who have manufacturing plants in USA, Belgium and Mexico. Clayton Thermal Products Limited is located in Runcorn, Cheshire from where the UK sales and service is organised.

Products Industrial Steam Generators in the range 150kg/h to 20,000kg/h and Heat Recovery Boilers. Systems incorporate burners, pumps, motors, instrumentation, electro/mechanical and plc control as well as a variety of ancillary plant such as water softeners, metering pumps, pressure vessels etc.

Customers Pharmaceutical plant, chemical plant, food factories, power stations, hospitals and any industry where steam is used. Major customers include GSK, Pfizer, EON, EDF, Coca Cola, Unilever etc.

The Position Service Engineer will join our team of regionally based specialists. You will be part of our Customer Service Department taking a key role in ensuring optimum performance and safety of our systems and long term customer satisfaction taking into account risk assessments and customer’s site procedures. You will be required to carry out routine service work, fault finding as well as commission of new installations once you have reached the relevant level of competency. The position involves working at sites throughout the UK and occasionally overseas as well as providing customer support 24/7 that operates on a weekly rota basis. Spending long periods away from home and some weekend working is required.

Qualifications The successful candidate will ideally be educated to at least HNC/ONC level or City and Guilds in an electro-mechanical discipline with experience of maintaining rotating machinery, instrumentation and control systems. Internal and external training will be given to enable you to grow in this positon.

Additional Qualifications Up to date ACS COCN1 gas accreditation is also desirable otherwise eligibility for ACS assessment is required. PLC programming knowledge including Schneider Unity Pro, Siemens S7 and TIA portal would be an advantage as well as previous experience of steam raising plant.
